  • 4D’s Principle – Do it, Date it, Delegate it or Delete it
  • Employee development.  Take the time to develop the team members around you.  Be a Mentor for your team
  • Remember that people are always looking at you.  You are always operating in the “Fish Bowl” principle
  • No matter what happens or develops, don’t let them see you sweat
  • Always control your emotions and demeanor
  • Communication is key.  Seek to clearly understand the other persons view or issue first
  • Balance your personal and professional life.  Take time for yourself since it all starts with YOU
  • Remember the Golden Rule: Treat others the way that you would like to be treated
  • It is important to have Mentors to collaborate with and to learn from
