- Put in a good day’s work. Always seek to do your “BEST”
- Volunteer to take on extra tasks and execute. Doing this allows others to have the opportunity to better know you
- 4D’s Principle – Do it, Date it, Delegate it or Delete it
- Employee development. Take the time to develop the team members around you. Be a Mentor for your team
- Remember that people are always looking at you. You are always operating in the “Fish Bowl” principle
- No matter what happens or develops, don’t let them see you sweat
- Always control your emotions and demeanor
- Communication is key. Seek to clearly understand the other persons view or issue first
- Balance your personal and professional life. Take time for yourself since it all starts with YOU
- Remember the Golden Rule: Treat others the way that you would like to be treated
- It is important to have Mentors to collaborate with and to learn from
